EU Funding

(1) Drafting of general and specific project briefs
This will include the specific deliverables that the client wishes to achieve through the execution of the general project, and as a consequence through the execution of a number of specific project briefs on a case by case basis. In essence inRoads and client will work together to fine-tune a general project brief in terms of acceptable EU policy in the field, both existing and currently under consideration. All the deliverables set out in the final general project brief will constitute the deliverables that the client will task inRoads to assist it to achieve through the specific project briefs.

(2) Identifying EU and other possible funds
Once the final general project brief has been settled, inRoads will set out to identify those appropriate funding channels, on an ongoing basis, which would become available to the client for the achievement of the set deliverables. On a regular basis inRoads will update client on the appropriate funding channels available, providing the client with insight into the nature of these funds, the realistic possibilities for such funds and recommendations on the options available. The client and inRoads will accordingly agree on which funding channels to pursue and to what extent.

(3) Writing proposals
Essentially this will follow from the service detailed above, in the sense that once appropriate funding channels have been identified and once the client and inRoads will accordingly agree on which funding channels to pursue and to what extent, a mini-project brief will be drafted in agreement and such will form the basis of the funding proposal that will be submitted. We can take care of the actual writing of the proposal from A to Z, subject to the final proposal itself being submitted by and in the name of client. However, the content of the technical sections of the application will have to be provided by the client.

(4) Partner searches.
When necessary and requested by client, inRoads will offer alternatives for partners that may be necessary for any part of the project, and we will offer our recommendations accordingly. It is understood that any and all partners sought by inRoads and chosen by the client shall, for all intents and purposes, be considered as partners with the client for the relevant part of the project. In plainer terms, the client will be under no distinct or further obligation to inRoads for any partner the latter may have sourced for the former, as such sourcing is purely part of the consultancy services that inRoads is offering the client in this package.

(5) Follow-up service
inRoads will use the alliances it has and will be building with its foreign associates to follow-up any proposals submitted for funding approval, as well as voice the interests of the client on an ongoing basis for policy creation and adoption by the EU which favours the deliverables in the general project brief.
